Our partner Vinícius Casciano represents the MGA law firm at the 2024 edition of the International Symposium on Immunobiologicals (ISI), promoted by the Institute of Technology on Immunobiologicals (Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz).
The ISI aims to integrate professionals, academics, and researchers from within and outside Brazil with R&D institutions to create collaborative networks for scientific and technological research, information exchange, professional contacts, and visibility for national production, particularly in the Biotechnology sector.
“Over four days, there will be numerous lectures, symposiums, roundtable discussions, and scientific paper presentations with the leading researchers from Brazil and around the world in the field of immunobiologicals, without mentioning the presence of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, as well as renowned institutions, which will certainly foster high-level discussions on frontier topics related to R&D, production, clinical trials, and regulation of immunobiologicals, vaccines, and biopharmaceuticals. Staying updated in these areas is essential for charting the best strategies of patent protection for our clients in the biotechnology field,” summarizes Vinícius.
Among the topics at the ISI are the use of AI for accurate disease diagnosis and the future of vaccine production.
The 8th edition of the ISI takes place between May 7th and 10th at the Getulio Vargas Foundation auditorium, in Botafogo.
