Start of examination of position marks is the topic of Luiza Duarte Pereira’s article published in the INTA Bulletin
In an article about position marks published in the INTA Bulletin, Luiza writes about the beginning of examination of these applications after the technical updates implemented in the Brazilian PTO’s systems. In the text, Luiza comments that “Since the Office has yet to render any decision on the merits of an application for a position mark, practitioners and others are now eagerly awaiting examination of these applications to see how the Office views potential controversial points and how it will interpret the regulation.”
