The Brazilian National Film Agency publishes the procedure for requesting priority in the analysis of the initial approval of audiovisual projects.

On June 18, 2020, the Brazilian National Film Agency (“ANCINE”) published a release for the audiovisual sector, detailing the procedure for requesting priority in the analysis of the initial approval of audiovisual projects to gather incentive funds.

According to ANCINE, projects that prove to have secured investments through agreements or that are under the risk of expiration of the deadline for investments and transfers of funds will have priority of analysis. The requests for this priority can be made by both the producer and the investor and must provide information about the documents of allocation of funds and their expiration dates, along with the investment agreement, as applicable.
