BPTO postpones the suspension of deadlines until May 31,2020 due to COVID-19 outbreak.

Following the governmental recommendations to refrain the COVID-19 outbreak in Brazil, the BPTO published Ordinance No. 179, which postpones the final term of suspension of all administrative deadlines until May 31, 2020.  The deadlines may be extended or reduced according to the impositions or flexibilities of the sanitary measures related to the free movement of people. The BPTO’s on-site services remain suspended indefinitely.  Users’ inquiries will be answered only through digital service channels.

Notwithstanding the suspension of deadlines, we recommend complying with the original deadlines, in order to avoid delays and last minute setbacks, which may cause instabilities on the BPTO’s database.
