On May 9, 2019, the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (BPTO) and the Foundation for Support of Research of the State of São Paulo (FAPESP) signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement, aiming at making technical information available and combining efforts , skills and technical knowledge for the development of projects, studies and researches in industrial property.
On May 24, 2019, the BPTO and the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) signed a Protocol of Intent, with the purpose of promoting and expanding the use of the industrial property system by ITA. Among the actions planned are the formation of human capital in IP, exchange of personnel for qualification and development of joint knowledge.
