Marcelo will take part in the roundtable discussion “Computer Programs: New Tools and Resources that Facilitate the Creation, Recording and Promotion of Music,” this Wednesday, April 30, from 3:40 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the CCBB Rio de Janeiro.
The session will be moderated by Carlos Silva (INPI), and the panel will also feature Luca Schirru (IBDAutoral/PUC-Rio) and José Eduardo Pieri (ABPI).
The event — held in celebration of World Intellectual Property Day — is an initiative of ABAPI (Brazilian Association of Industrial Property Agents) and INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property), with the support of WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) and ABPI (Brazilian Intellectual Property Association).
Titled “Intellectual Property and Music: Feel the Beat of IP,” the event will focus on discussing the role of Intellectual Property in the creation, protection, and circulation of musical productions after gen-AI.
