Marcelo Goyanes, founding partner of MGA, will take part in two panels at the 2025 edition of the Music Trends Conference

The first starts at 5:00 p.m., also on December 4, and the topic is “Artificial Intelligence and Copyright”, with Heloísa Guzzi (MinC), Elizabeth Levy (ECAD) and again moderated by Guta Braga (MCT). On the agenda are updates on the debate around the use of AI in Brazil and worldwide, the challenges posed to Brazilian legislation by Bill 2338, how to balance innovation and regulation in the creative sector, and what we can learn from the experience of other countries.

The second, “Deepfake: Creativity, Risks and Regulation in the New Digital Era”, takes place on December 4 at 10:25 a.m. and discusses how deepfake technology – the use of artificial intelligence to create or alter images, audio and video in such a realistic way that it becomes hard to tell whether certain content has been manipulated – is increasingly impacting content creation in advertising, cinema and journalism. With Christiano Bock (AlmapBBDO) and also moderated by Guta Braga.

Marcelo Goyanes’ participation reinforces MGA’s commitment to engaging in key debates on the regulation and responsible use of new technologies – especially AI tools – in the field of Intellectual Property.

Trends Brasil Conference 2025 takes place from December 2 to 4 at ExpoRio Cidade Nova, in Rio de Janeiro.
