INPI Updates Trademark, Industrial Design, and Geographical Indication Guidelines
The Brazilian PTO (INPI) has issued an updated version of the Trademark, Industrial Design, and Geographical Indication Guidelines, reflecting significant changes arising from the implementation of the new Schedule of Official Fees.
In August, the Trademark Guidelines were also amended to establish parameters for substantiating claims of highly renowned trademarks.
