Pharmacist, post-graduate in Industrial Pharmaceutical Management, with a Master degree in Intellectual Property and Innovation, Marcus is a patent specialist for more than five years, with experience in legal opinions on patentability, preparing of responses to office actions, drafting patent applications, portfolio management, freedom to operate analysis, validity analysis and administrative proceedings of patents and industrial designs, as well as technical consultancy related to strategies for protection. Marcus is co-author of technical studies, such as the work “The Prior Consent of substances banned by the Brazilian Healthcare Agency (ANVISA) as a barrier to technological innovation”, presented at the 9th Enapid Congress – Academic Meeting on Intellectual Property, Innovation and Development.
